This was another concept completed for the Axum Project. The brief was very open to all the artists at this stage, we were just creating ideas around the theme of Atlantis, with matte paintings in mind too as some of the concepts would become. I had intended to do the city stretching right off into the distance, but it was beginning to take too long, so i left it at this point. Maybe someday I will sort out the scale issues and produce the city in 3D and make a final matte painting from this...
